Play & Stay With Us

Canine Guests

We can’t wait to welcome your dog to 4-Legged Friends! To get started fill out the required pet registration forms, then submit a Dog Daycare and Lodging Assessment Request to schedule an assessment (by appointment only). Once we receive your request, along with the completed enrollment form and vaccination records, we will contact you to set up a time to meet.

Requirements for Enrollment:

Vaccination & Health Requirements:

✔ Rabies (age-appropriate)
✔ DHLPP (puppies need at least 2 rounds to start)
✔ Bordetella
✔ Fecal test with a negative result
✔ Heartworm test with a negative result (age-appropriate)

Spay & Neuter Policy:

✔ Females must be spayed by 7 months to continue attending daycare or lodging.
✔ Unaltered males over 7 months are welcome for Lone Wolf Lodging (non-group boarding).

Assessment Day is FREE!

Before joining daycare or lodging, all dogs must complete an assessment day at no charge to ensure they’re comfortable and will enjoy their stay at 4LF. Lodging Reservations cannot be same-day, so we recommend planning ahead to ensure 4LF is the right fit for your dog.

Feline Guests

No pre-assessment is necessary for our Haight-AshPurry Cat Lodging—just contact us to set up a boarding reservation! Our registration form and vaccination records must be submitted prior to reserving.

Requirements for Enrollment:

  • Rabies Vaccination (if age-appropriate)

  •  Spay/neuter if over 7 months

Age Guidelines

We welcome new dog and cat clients between 12 weeks and 12 years old. For pets over 12 years old, we recommend in-home care unless they have successfully stayed with us before.
