4-Legged Friends Pet Lodging and Daycare is a fast-growing company always on the lookout for exceptional team members.

Applicants should be responsible, enthusiastic individuals who love animals and are committed to their safety and happiness. Must be willing to learn the essentials of individual animal behavior, group dog behavior, and quality customer service. All positions are active and fast paced.

  • Hours: 20 to 40 per week
  • Availability: Flexible shifts from 6:15 AM to 7 PM for the day shifts. 5 PM to 8 AM split shifts for overnight. Weekends and holidays required for all positions.
  • Starting Wage: $12-$15/hour depending on position and experience.
  • Benefits Include: Employee discount on retail and services.

Requirements:

  • Dog and cat lovers
  • Age 18 or older
  • Honest, responsible, dependable, prompt & willing to learn
  • Enjoy a fast-paced work environment
  • Live within 20 minutes of facility with personal transportation
  • Able to be physically active for entire shift & lift at least 50 lbs.
  • References & background checks completed before hire

Current Open Positions

• Dog play supervision according to 4-Legged Friends’ philosophy & policies
• Behavior guidance through positive reinforcement
• Facility cleaning & maintenance (mopping, sweeping, kennel cleaning, etc.)
• Cleaning up after dogs and cats in daycare & boarding areas

• Tend to both human, canine, and feline guests when they check in and out from our facility
• Responsible for answering phones, emails, scheduling boarding reservations, and maintaining the positive client/staff relationship people have come to know at 4LF
• Walking leashed dogs of all sizes to and from daycare and kennels is required

• Cleaning dog and cat overnight rooms during guests stay and after they leave
• Food prep for overnight guests
• Cat care including feedings/litter scooping/and extra TLC
• Washing dishes
• Laundry
• Dog bathing

• Assist the front desk in walking dogs on leash to and from daycare.
• Provide one-on-one interaction to guests that require personalized attention.
• Assist with special services, private play periods, and bathing.
• Interact with pet parents in a friendly and professional manner.

• Attend to the feeding and general care of our overnight guests (both dogs and cats)
• Clean facility areas in preparation for the next day (vacuuming/moping, etc)
• Prepare meals
• Administer medication as instructed
• Vacuuming/washing play room floors following daycare
• Spraying down outdoor turf in play areas
• Shift premium offered for both night shifts
